Many kid's dresses for Halloween or dancing are designed three-dimensional and regarding to the flowers and animals.First, I explain pattern-making method and designing the petals on the bodice, designing petals for shaping the skirt, then attaching the petals on the dress and also preparing the petals which will form the skirt.And finally I add the details including the netted bodice or netted circle skirt which is cut in native American Indian skirt and I design a three-dimensional dress.As you know, flower is a symbol of woman and feminine in semiotics and using the flower design has been applied in different ways throughout history. It is one of the most popular designs that is performed regarding the flowers and in three-dimensional way. By this training, you can actually design a whole dress like a flower, as if the kid (or the woman) is a part of that flower.In this training I will teach you a sample completely and with a little creativity you yourself can make various flower designs including viola, sunflower, chamomile, etc. just learn the basics.
