Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies alongside behaviour change strategies. This course is designed up to provide you with a deep understanding of the six main ACT processes: Acceptance, Contact with the Present Moment, Observing Self, Values, and Committed Action.You will learn how to use ACT to help people deal with painful thoughts and feelings, become more psychologically flexible, and live a life that is consistent with their values through practical exercises. This course is suitable for mental health professionals, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and anyone interested in understanding and applying ACT principles in either professional or personal contexts.
